Claire Pring
Having qualified from the University of Birmingham, I spent time in the NHS which has massively helped my patient skills and is an experience I carry with me now. Working in various departments such as stroke, A&E, acute medicine and women’s health, I took the step into the work of private MSK physiotherapy alongside working at Norwich City Football club academy.
Growing up in a sports mad family and competing at County level myself in my native Norfolk in swimming, hockey, netball and tennis, as well as representing England in middle- and long-distance athletics, I understand the mental frustrations and challenges that injury brings.
I strive to get to know all my patients as people, be prepared to have a laugh and light hearted banter during their treatment sessions and adopt a strengthening focus to my treatments alongside hands on therapy.
My biggest enjoyment is helping patients back to achieve their goals whether that be in the professional sporting environment in which I have previously worked or enabling a patient to live a pain free life.
In my spare time, I am usually found in the gym with an interest in functional fitness and cross fit styles of training, having moved away from athletics after my own serious injuries.
I am a huge sports fan with a particular interest in rugby, cricket and F1 and having recently moved to Nottinghamshire, I am enjoying exploring the sites of a vibrant new city.
