Sex with a commercial sex worker (eg escort, prostitiute)

Needless to say, sexual intercourse with a sex worker is one of the riskiest sexual activities, mainly because of the large number of partners that each sex worker has.

Also, some sex workers are also intravenous drug users, which increases their chances of being infected with an STD, STI or HIV which is passed on by sharing blood.

If you have had sex with a sex worker, then you should arrange to have a full STD screen.
