Private GP Oxford

Regent Street Clinic™ has been providing private GP services across the UK since 1998.

Our team of private GPs/Clinicians understand that when it comes to your health, there are times when you just need to address your concern as soon as possible and without delay. We are open six days per week and will always accommodate a same-day appointment requests.

Innovative approaches

We advocate a holistic approach aimed at getting to the root of the problem, incorporating functional medicine alongside conventionally-taught general practice. Our main aim is to identify any medical issues early on so we can address them as soon as possible.

We prioritise preventative medicine and aim to optimise wellness.  Our approach enables us to create a bespoke and personalised health plan focussing on maximizing  healthspan, lifespan and vitality.

Attending your appointment

Try and attend around 15 minutes prior to the appointment time, to allow some time to complete the new patient health questionnaire and registration forms.

You will be seen by a member of our clinical team of GPs/clinicians, however all private patients are managed by our team of 25 British doctors/clinicians. This multidisciplinary approach allows a team of experienced medics to formulate a management plan for each case.

Appointment times are not restricted and the doctor/clinician will spend as long as is necessary to take a thorough medical history and to perform a clinical examination where appropriate. Chaperones will be available for sensitive examinations and you are welcome to attend with a friend or relative as you wish.

Aftercare

Laboratory results are typically available within 1-3 working days and will be shared with you upon receipt. We advocate all results be shared with your NHS GP for continuity of care.

Booking Your Appointment

It is not mandatory for full personal details to be disclosed if confidentiality and discretion are an issue. However, it is preferable to give us correct details whenever possible with a method of contacting you should the need arise (usually mobile telephone number or e-mail address).

Your attendance at our clinic will not be disclosed to any third party without your consent, including to your NHS General Practitioner (GP).

Our clinical team will, however, respectfully discuss the benefits of sharing any significant findings with your NHS GP as highlighted in Good Medical Practice and the recommendations of the General Medical Council (GMC), however, this will be dependent upon a two-way discussion and we will always respect each patient’s view.

A report can be issued highlighting the significant clinical findings, which can be discussed with other healthcare professionals if needed.
