This COVID-19 antigen test is perfect for people who need an immediate test for business settings, concerned individuals, care homes, schools & work etc to be able to prove their status with a return to school and work with a negative result. It is also handy for those who want to ensure that they are negative before visiting their elderly relatives or other vulnerable individuals. This test can also be used for FIT-TO-FLY certification with some airlines and in some countries.
COVID-19 PCR SWAB WITH 24 HOUR RESULT: £125
Regent Street Clinic™ is able to now offer a 24 hours turnaround service using UKAS accredited laboratory. This COVID-19 PCR swab test looks for current COVID-19 infection. The result is emailed as soon the results are received from the laboratory.
This PCR swab test has a 100% specificity and >98% sensitivity meaning it is very accurate.
COVID-19 PCR SWAB WITH 24 HOUR RESULT & Fit To Fly Certificate: £150
This COVID-19 PCR swab test looks for current COVID-19 infection.
This service has a 24 hours average turnaround time and includes a ‘Fit To Fly Certificate’ issued by our medical team which is a requirement to board the flight with some airlines.
When should I book my appointment?
This depends on the service you choose. Our standard service requires tests to be taken at least 2-3 days before the flight departure.
Although we have calculated the process to complete within two working days, we advise you to book your appointment three days in advance if possible.
Do I require a ‘Fit to Fly Letter’ with COVID-19 testing?
Please check with your travel agent and the airline. It is also a good idea to look for the latest travel advisory by the government about your destination country on the FCO (Foreign & Commonwealth Office) website.
You may want to get tested for your own peace of mind pre-travel so that you know you have done everything in your control to avoid infecting others on your journey.
PCR swab testing – the procedure
The PCR swab test is painless and quick. A swab (similar to a thin cotton bud) is taken from the back of the throat and up the nose, the whole procedure takes around 1 minute and causes no distress at all.

We will try our best as we can to get your test processed as quickly as possible. We are confident that the timelines we have advised as above are achievable in almost all cases.
There is no guarantee of turnaround or fulfillment as we are reliant upon our laboratory, who have an excellent track record of delivering on time. Over 98% of our sample requests have been fulfilled on time since we started offering these tests in June 2020.
The lab which we use is one of the largest and most experienced in the UK, who are able to meet the high volumes of requests.
